Costa Rica is an amazing eco destination - a true tropical paradise. Visits to this country allow you to enjoy the pristine beaches and witness whales and dolphins at play. For supreme adventure, you can surf, hike, raft, zipline through a jungle canopy, dive, fish and snorkel just to name a few.
Turubari Park,is an eco-adventure experience with rain forest tours, an aerial tram and butterfly garden where you can see the stunning blue morpho. Go horseback riding and take the "zipline", an exhilarating experience of flying over the canopy of trees, safely.  Owner Jill Ruttenberg is a registered herbalist (AHG) who specializes in Chinese and western herbal medicine. Jill is a colleague of Dr. Andrew Weil and participated in weekly patient conferences at the program in Integrative Medicine, University of Arizona Medical Center. She has also studied with some of the best herbalists and OMD's in the world, including Dr. Michael Tierra and Dr. Joel Penner. Jill is a certified massage therapist who practices many modalities, a Hatha Yoga instructor, and writer of articles for U.S. alternative health publications. Nutritional consulting, massage and yoga classes are all available on the premises at AmaTierra.
