Podere Isabella: A lovely villa estate featuring the enchanting Aurora Studio

In the heart of the Val d'Orcia, which has acted as a dramatic backdrop for many successful films over the years, rests an alluring and peaceful estate comprised of Podere Isabella (the main villa) and the neighboring barn-turned-wellness-studio of Aurora.

With amazing care and attention given utilizing Feng Shui principles, eco friendly materials and alternative energy, the property has been restored and reborn; alive with colors, energy and harmony.

The house is surrounded by Mediterranean brush, olive trees, roses, cypress trees, fountains and a heated swimming pool. Spacious rooms are painted with natural colors and decorated with antique European and Asian furniture, ethnic materials and carpets, old prints and contemporary art. Most of the bedrooms have private bathrooms. The living room's large fireplace warms up winter nights; in the kitchen, along with modern appliances, exquisite Tuscan food can be cooked in a traditional firewood oven. On the first floor, an 80 sqm meditation room; on the ground floor, a 120 sqm open space with computer, wi-fi connection, film projector, semi-professional kitchen, dining room, and porch for al fresco dining.

AURORA
Aurora is a non profit organization whose aim is to promote a feminine, non exclusive approach to spiritual knowledge. Its founders are four women, all working mothers, who want to contribute to bridge the gap between culture and the spirit. Aurora organizes lectures, workshops, seminars in Milan and Tuscany with a wide range of teachers, both Italian and foreign. Bebetta Campeti was born in Venezuela from Italian parents. As she was growing up she traveled extensively with them in Europe and America. She studied in Milan and New York and since then her taste for travel and adventure brought her to discover other continents, cultures and religions. She speaks fluently four languages (Italian English French and Spanish).
Her interest in the spiritual path started during her studies in writing and theater at Sarah Lawrence College, New York, where she graduated in '79. In the 80's, she continued to pursue her esoteric studies and worked as an actress in film and theater, and as a writer-director-producer of documentaries on cultural, anthropological and religious subjects. In the 90's she married, had two sons and worked at home. She has written plays, screenplays, fiction, memoirs. One of her plays, "Diotima" about the prophetess who taught Socrates the true nature of love, was published in '91 and toured Italian theatres for various seasons. She has been practicing Hatha Yoga for many years. In 1997 she started to follow Tibetan Buddhism and received various tantric initiations by H.H. the Dalai Lama and Namkhai Norbu Rinpoce. In 2005 she met the Swiss teacher Daniel Odier and embraced an ancient lineage of Kashmiri Shaivism, a path in which the feminine spiritual approach is prevalent. Shortly after, she took on the renovation of her country house in Tuscany to host seminars of yoga, meditation and other holistic disciplines. In 2008 she completed an advanced mentor course of the School of Applied Spiritual Healing taught by Dr. Raymond Henshall, a North American shaman.
